Fahad Semakula , 11 years

Fahad is an 11-year-old boy in Primary four (P4). He lives with his blind grandmother and little brother. He faces many challenges because he feels it's his job to take care of his grandmother and brother.

Paying for school is tough. His grandmother relies on begging and sometimes the community helps. Fahad's mother used to take care of them until she passed away in 2021. Now, he's an orphan.

Fahad is hardworking and has the potential to be successful. He helps with cooking, washing, and getting firewood. He's also active and loves sports. His dream is to become a pilot.
