A compassionate and determined student at Skagerak International School in Sandefjord held a heartwarming donation project in support of Ajabu children's Foundation, Uganda- convincing her teachers, parents and fellow students to unite and make an actual impact on the lives of children in Uganda.

Mae Elisabeth (18) mobilized her school community, designed informative posters for the school platform and placed donation boxes around the school.
Her message was well received. Within weeks, the school was flooded with a tidal wave of kind-heartedness. Students donated clothes, shoes, and snugly soft bears.
Mae ensured that every item donated was thoroughly cleaned, packed and ready to be sent to us.
A special Delivery
Mae didn't just stop at collecting donations- she took the effort all the way to the very end!

With her supportive mother by her side, she personally delivered the donations to us and I had the privilege of meeting them both,a deeply moving moment that beautifully underscored the values of kindness passed down through generations. Her mother's presence was a quiet yet powerful reminder that compassion runs in the family.
We give our sincerest and deepest thanks to all the children who donated and the entire school community for enabling this. Your generosity is bringing smiles, hope and comfort to children who need it most. the warm clothes,hard-wearing shoes and cuddly teddy bears will be a tangible difference in helping our children feel they are seen, loved and appreciated- by friends they will likely never meet but who truly care.
Young hands, Big impact

Mae Elisabeth Sissener is not just a student, but a change-maker and a shining inspiration of what a determined and kind heart can achieve. We at Ajabu Children's Foundation are forever grateful. Thank you for standing with the Ajabu children. Thank you Skagerak International School for believing in her vision. And thank you to all the children who gave back because through you, children in Uganda will walk with dignity, sleep soundly and smile joyfully.
