Okiring Swamadah (P.5)

Okiring Swamadah is a resilient 14-year-old boy from the village of Kisigula in Buikwe district. In 2020, his life changed when his father died in a motorcycle accident, leaving his mother as the only provider.

Swamadah’s mother works hard, taking any job that pays to support her family. Despite her efforts, they often struggle to make ends meet, which causes Swamadah a lot of stress and low self-esteem. He often worries about where their next meal will come from or how they will pay for school fees.

Despite these challenges, Swamadah is a bright and determined student. He excels in his class, consistently achieving top grades and actively participating in lessons. He is a social and motivated young boy who dreams of becoming a teacher. He wants to help others and make a positive impact on his community through education and mentorship.

Your support is helping Swamadah turn his challenges into opportunities and achieve his goal of becoming a teacher and community leader.
