Namataka Faridah (P.3)

Namataka Faridah is a 9-year-old girl in Primary 3. She lives in Kisigula village with her mother and four siblings. Faridah's father left in 2024, leaving her mother as the sole breadwinner for the family. Taking care of five children is a heavy burden for her mother, who struggles to provide for their basic needs.

Life is not easy for Faridah and her family. Paying school fees was a constant challenge, and they often cannot afford regular meals. This has made it hard for Faridah to focus on her studies. Faridah shines brightly in class. She is very intelligent and works hard to do well.

Faridah dreams of becoming a doctor one day, so she can help others and create a better life for herself and her family. She is also a social and cheerful girl who loves playing netball with her friends.
