Apolot Rose (P.1)

Apolot Rose is a cheerful 10-year-old girl who lives in Nalyazi Village. She is in Primary One (P.1) at school and is excited to move to Primary Two (P.2) next year.

Rose lives with her grandmother because her mother left her. Her grandmother, though unemployed, works very hard to provide for Rose. She finds ways to meet their basic needs, even though life is tough.

Rose loves playing netball with her friends. She dreams of becoming a doctor when she grows up so she can help people feel better and take care of their health.

Her grandmother is proud of her and hopes Rose will achieve her big dreams
